My Coaching Approach
I’ve learned a lot in my eight years of coaching clients. Through years of working with groups and one-on-one as well as going through my own ups and downs with wellness, I’ve discovered what has officially become my coaching approach.
It comes down to our relationship with food and ourselves.
Food is a “problem area” for a whole lot of people! It takes a toll on the weight and overall mental and physical health of about 117 million people in America. According to the Centers for Disease Control, fully six in ten adults suffer at least one diet-related disease [overweight, obesity, depression, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, etc.], and four in ten adults suffer two or more.
In essence, if you can change the way you eat and fix your relationship with food, you can fix a whole lot of other things you’re struggling with.
And I know, you’ve tried everything!
Well, almost everything. Here’s the thing, the way you eat has very little to do with the food itself and almost everything to do with what you believe about food/yourself and it just gets deeper and deeper from there. My coaching approach leaves the conventional approach in your past, where it belongs. It turns it on its head, so to speak. For example, your weight loss will become a sustainable side-effect with my approach instead of your main goal. This totally changes things.
